How do I transfer friends from a profile to a community?

You can only transfer followers from your personal page to a community, not friends.
Important: your audience is not duplicated, but transferred. This process will remove all the bots.

To use this feature, open Settings in the desktop version and press Send Request next to the Transfer followers to your community option.

Important: the transfer is only available to a portion of users that have over 1,000 followers on their profile. Eventually this feature will become available to all users. After the first transfer you will be able to send a new request when the profile gains enough followers.

For the transfer to happen, the community must follow these criteria:

• the theme of the community correlates with that of the profile and the content is similar.
• you are the owner of the community.
• the community is active and had thematic posts in the last month.
• the profile regularly creates posts of matching the theme of the community.
• the community has no violations.
• the community is not hidden through privacy settings: you will not be able to transfer followers into a closed or private community.
